Songwriter and musician Cian Lynch returns from a four year hiatus with a new single "Whenever You Are". Whilst cut from a similar thematic cloth this pop/rock track is a distinctly different musical offering to the tracks found on Cian's previous EP "Away From Here".This release sees Cian slipping into a more producer orientated role, arguably one that fits better and produces music more interesting and enjoyable to listen to.

Opening with shimmering guitar parts which give way to an ominous bass synth melody the song strives to address feelings of inadequateness and self doubt. A subtle bridge section featuring a segment of the poem "The Guy in the Glass" by Dale Wimbrow begs the listener to lean in to catch what is being said before being blown back by a barrage of loud guitars and stunning vocals from Clare singer Aine O'Brien which sees the track out on a somewhat optimistic, daresay, joyous note.
